Abstract

Penerapan jaringan area tubuh nirkabel dalam ruangan khususnya pada intensive care unit (ICU) rumah sakit menggunakan media transmisi secara nirkabel yang mana pertukaran data pada sistem komunikasi nirkabel dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor lingkungan yang dinamis. Hal ini dapat memengaruhi propagasi dalam kanal radionya dan faktor-faktor tersebut dapat berupa suhu, kelembaban, dan objek-objek yang dapat menyebabkan pantulan, sehingga terjadi lintasan jamak pada kanal propagasi yang berada pada dalam ruangan tersebut, sehingga dihasilkan kanal yang dinamis dan perlu dilakukan karaterisasi kanal agar didapatkan perancangan sistem komunikasi yang optimal. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dirancang pemodelan kanal dengan melakukan berbagai kemungkinan skenario khususnya saat pasien tidur pada ruangan ICU. Perancangan skenario dipertimbangkan berdasarkan dua klasifikasi orientasi, yaitu orientasi antena dan orientasi tubuh saat pasien tidur. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran untuk masing-masing skenario menggunakan vector network analyzer dan didapatkan respon kanalnya. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis dan pengolahan data dari hasil pengukuran skenario wireless body area network dalam ruangan menggunakan parameter-parameter statistik, seperti rata-rata, varians, standard deviasi, dan didapatkan fungsi penyebaran kumulatifnya. Setelah pengolahan data selesai didapatkan sintesis dan rekomendasi dari sistem komunikasi wireless body area network dalam ruangan.

The application of indoor wireless body area networks especially in hospitals’ intensive care unit (ICU) use wireless transmission media in which data exchange in wireless communication systems can be influenced by various factors, for example it can be caused by dynamic environment. This can affect the propagation of the radio in it’s channel and these factors can be temperature, humidity, and objects that can cause reflection, so there can be many trajectories in the propagation channel inside the room, so that resulting in a dynamic channel and necessary to do the characterization of the channel in order to obtain optimal communication system design. In this study, channel modeling will be designed by performing various possible scenarios, especially when the patient is sleeping in the ICU room. The scenario design is considered based on two orientation classifications, namely antenna orientation and body orientation when the patient is sleeping. Furthermore, measurements were taken for each scenario using a vector network analyzer and the channel response was obtained. Furthermore, analysis and processing of data from the measurements of wireless body area network scenarios are carried out using statistical parameters, such as mean, variance, standard deviation, and the cumulative distribution function. After processing the data, the synthesis and recommendations of the wireless body area network communication system in the room are obtained.
