Abstract

Analisis data mengenai perbandingan antara hasil pengukuran Ultrasonic Flowmeter tipe TUF-2000M terhadap nilai visualisasi dari pyrex telah dilakukan. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan ketiga jenis pengukuran pada daerah steady state. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah hasil pengukuran Ultrasonic Flowmeter mengalami fluktuasi yang cukup besar yang dikarenakan faktor ekternal lingkungan seperti noise alat lain. Sehingga perlu dilakukan smoothing pada data hasil pengukuran. Selain itu, nilainya juga masih kurang akurat terhadap nilai hasil pengukuran visualisasi pyrex, sehingga perlu digunakan faktor pengali sebesar 3,47 untuk meningkatkan akurasinya. Nilai rata-rata error setelah dilakukan penguatan sinyal sebesar 5,85%. Untuk perbandingan hasil perhitungan laju aliran sirkulasi alam berdasarkan perubahan temperatur terhadap hasil pengukuran visualisasi pyrex tidak berhasil dilakukan karena jenis aliran yang terjadi pada keadaan steady adalah aliran transisi, sehingga sulit dilakukan perbandingan terhadap laju aliran sirkulasi alam. Untuk membandingkannya, perlu dilakukan pengujian kembali dengan kondisi temperatur pada heater dan cooler maksimal sebesar 550C dan 330C pada Untai FASSIP-01 Mod.1.

Data analysis was conducted by comparing the flow rate measurements obtained using the Ultrasonic Flowmeter (FUS) type TUF-2000M with the visualization measurements from a Pyrex section under steady-state conditions. The Ultrasonic Flowmeter measurements exhibited significant fluctuations in each repetition due to external environmental factors, such as noise from surrounding systems. In addition, the measured values were less accurate than those obtained through Pyrex visualization. To improve the accuracy, the Ultrasonic Flowmeter readings were multiplied by a correction factor of 3.47, resulting in an average error of 5.85%. In contrast, the calculated natural circulation flow rate based on temperature changes could not be directly compared with the Pyrex visualization results because the flow regime in the pipe was in the transitional region. Under transitional flow conditions, it is difficult to accurately compare the natural circulation flow rate calculated from temperature changes. Therefore, further experiments are required using maximum water temperatures of 55°C in the heater and 33°C in the cooler in the Untai FASSIP-01 Mod.1 facility.
