Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, teori kontrol berkembang sedemikian pesat. Persoalan yang mendasar dari sistem kontrol adalah merancang suatu kontroller yang mampu menghasilkan output dari plant (objek yang diatur) sesuai spesifikasi yang diinginkan. Proses desain kontroller ini semakin kompleks seiring dengan kompleksitas plant serta proses yang akan diatur didalamnya, timbul pula persoalan untuk mengatur plant yang berkaitan dengan adanya disturbance atau gangguan. Perancangan sistem kontrol yang mampu menangani persoalan ini dirujuk sebagai kontrol robust. Salah satu teori kontrol yang masuk dalam kelompok kontrol robust adalah teori kontrol H-infinity. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana langkah – langkah dalam melakukan desain kontrol H-Infinity, dan implementasi metode pada sebuah sistem. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dari 2 contoh kasus didapatkan bahwa, level performasi dari sitem tanpa kontrol lebih besar dari level performasi close loop sistem, dengan kata lain efek gangguan yang diterima sistem jauh lebih kecil ketika diberi kontrol dibandingkan dengan sistem tanpa kontrol.

Along with the development of science and technology, control theory has developed so rapidly. The basic problem of control system is designing a controller that is able to produce output according to the desired specifications. Control system design is increasingly complex along with the complexity of the plant and the processes that will be regulated in it, and there is a problem to design a controller for plant with disturbance singal. Control system design that capable to handle this problem is called robust control. One of the control theories included in robust control is the H-infinity control theory. This paper present a simplified step by step procedure for design of H-infinity controller for given sistem and design example to implement the method. Based on the simulation results from several cases showed that performance level of the system without control was greater than performance level of the close loop system, in other word the effect of disturbance for system was much smaller in system with control.
