Abstract

Dewasa ini dunia telah memasuki revolusi industri 4.0. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi tersebut berdampak pada peningkatan aktivitas manusia akan kebutuhan dan penggunaan energi khususnya energi listrik sebagai kebutuhan utama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) diperkenalkan sebagai material pengganti grafena karena memiliki luas spesifik permukaan yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mensintesis serta mengetahui pengaruh variasi massa aluminium terhadap sifat kapasitansi pada material reduced graphene oxide. Variasi massa agen pereduksi aluminium yang digunakan 0,25 gram, 0,5 gram dan 0,75 gram. Pada penelitian ini GO disintesis menggunakan metode Hummer dan direduksi menggunakan Al secara kimia. Material hasil proses sintesis dilakukan karakterisasi menggunakan pengujian XRD, FTIR, SEM, dan EDX. Untuk performa superkapasitor, dilakukan pengujian CV, Galvanostat charge-discharge, dan EIS. Nilai kapasitansi dari yang tertinggi berturut-turut adalah saat penambahan massa 0,75 gram Al (170,21 F/g), 0,5 gram Al (149,065 F/g) dan 0,25 gram Al (117,5 F/g).

Today, the world has entered the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. The rapid development of technology has an impact on increment of human activity in energy used. Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) has become an interested thing to discuss in the field of nano-material and its introduced as the subtitute material of graphene becaused it has high specific surface area. The purposes of this research are to synthesize and to determine the effect of aluminum mass variations on the capacitance properties of reduced graphene oxide as electrode material. The mass variations of the aluminium as reducing agent that used in this research are 0.25 grams, 0.5 grams and 0.75 grams. In this research, GO was synthesized by Hummer method and was reduced by aluminum powder. These synthesized materials have been characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM and EDX. For supercapacitor’s performas are measured by CV testing, Galvanostat charge-discharge testing and EIS testing. The capacitance values from the highest to the lowest consecutively are the addition of 0.75 grams of Al (170, 21 F/g), 0.5 grams of Al (149,065 F/g) and 0.25 grams of Al (117, 5 F/g).
