Abstract
Jembatan Mahakam merupakan jembatan yang menghubungkan antara kota Samarinda dengan kecamatan Samarinda Seberang, Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. Jembatan Mahakam memiliki panjang total 400 meter dan lebar jembatan 13 meter. Sungai Mahakam memiliki fungsi sebagai transportasi air bagi kapal-kapal tongkang dan logging kayu. Kondisi eksisting jembatan adalah jembatan rangka baja biasa (type Warren) dengan pembagian 5 bentang, dimana bentang terpanjang adalah 100 meter. Kondisi ini jelas membuat lebar efektif sungai menjadi kecil yang membuat transportasi air mengalami kendala karena adanya pilar-pilar jembatan. Desain jembatan rangka busur dinilai dapat mengatasi kendala tersebut. Perencanaan ulang menggunakan jembatan busur rangka baja lantai kendaraan di tengah (A Half-Through Arch). Jembatan ini terdiri dari tiga bentang, dengan panjang bentang utama 280 meter dan masing-masing pendekat (Approach) dengan bentang 60 meter, serta lebar jembatan 15 meter.
Dasar perencanaan jembatan mengacu pada peraturan SNI 1725:2016, SNI 1729:2015, SNI 2833-2016. Tahapan perencanaan jembatan dimulai dari perhitungan lantai kendaraan, perhitungan gelagar memanjang dan melintang. Kemudiam perhitungan struktur utama menggunakan bantuan software Midas Civil. Perencanaan bangunan bawah pada tugas akhir ini menghitung struktur abutment, pilar, dan pondasi tiang pancang. Abutment dan pilar menggunakan struktur beton bertulang sesuai dengan SNI 2847:2013.
Dari hasil perencanaan, didapat profil struktur busur utama yaitu menggunakan profil Double WF 700x600x40x45 dan batang tarik menggunakan profil Double WF 700x550x40x45, diameter kabel penggantung 72 mm, perletakan menggunakan Pot Bearing. Pondasi yang digunakan berupa pondasi tiang pancang. Metode pelaksanaan yang ditinjau menggunakan sistem Half Cantilever.

Mahakam Bridge is a bridge which connects between Samarinda City and Samarinda Seberang district, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Mahakam Bridge has total span 400 me and width 13 m. One of Mahakam River function’s is as water transportation for barge ship and wood logging ship. The existing condition of the bridge is a steel truss bridge using warren type which is divided to 5 spans. The longest span is 100 meters. This condition exactly makes the effective width of the river narrow. It makes water transportation hard to go through the bridge because of the bridge pillars. It is expected to fix those problems by redesigning the bridge using a half through steel truss arch bridge. The bridge consists of three spans with main span is 280 meters and each of side span is 60 meters, and the width is 15 meters.
The principles of bridge design are SNI 1725:2016, SNI 1729:2015, SNI 2833:2016. The steps are designing concrete slab for the vehicle, designing secondary and primary beam. Then, calculating the main structure using Midas Civil. In this final project the design of the substructure are abutment, pillar, and spun pile. Abutment and pillar using reinforcement concrete based on SNI 2847:2013.
Based on the structural analysis, the output from this final project are obtained: Double WF 700x600x40x45 for the main arch, Double WF 700x550x40x45 for the tie beam, diameter of the hanger is 72 mm, bearing structure using Pot Bearing, foundation using spun piles, implementation method using Half Cantilever System.
