Abstract
Penyeberangan Ketapang – Gilimanuk merupakan salah satu penyeberangan dengan kepadatan tinggi di Indonesia dimana tiap tahunnya terdapat peningkatan jumlah produksi angkutan Penyeberangan Ketapang – Gilimanuk. Melihat kondisi ini, PT. Dharma Lautan Utama memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dimana pada tahun 2017 revenue PT. Dharma Lautan Utama hanya tumbuh tipis sebesar 5 persen. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan modifikasi Insert Hull kapal Ro-Ro Dharma Ferry I. Panjang insert hull didapatkan dengan menganalisis owner requirements pada Penyeberangan Ketapang - Gilimanuk. Pada analisis teknis akan dilakukan perhitungan hambatan dan propulsi, konstruksi kapal, berat dan titik berat kapal, stabilitas dan trim kapal, freeboard, dan tonase. Pada analisis ekonomis akan ditinjau mengenai biaya modifikasi, biaya operasional, pendapatan, serta perhitungan investasi NPV, IRR, BEP, dan PI. Dari hasil analisis owner requirements yang dilakukan, didapatkan kebutuhan luas tiap trip Penyeberangan Ketapang - Gilimanuk sebesar 578,23 m2 sehingga dibutuhkan Insert Hull sepanjang 7,5 m. Dari hasil analisis tersebut, diperoleh ukuran utama akhir kapal: Loa : 53,5 m, Lpp: 46,5 m, B: 12 m, H: 3 m, dan T: 1,9 m dengan kapasitas kapal 266 penumpang, 8 truk, dan 14 mobil. Kapal yang didesain memiliki hambatan total (RT) sebesar 59 kN, sehinnga dilakukan re-powering mesin utama sebesar 2 x 454 hp. Untuk berat total kapal (muatan penuh) didapatkan sebesar 902,484 ton. Tinggi freeboard minimum adalah 0,45 m dengan sarat maksimum 1,9 m, besarnya tonase kapal adalah 581 GT dan 201,21 NT. Semua kondisi operasional kapal memenuhi kriteria stabilitas kapal BKI Volume 3 Guidelines on Intact Stability, dan memenuhi kriteria trim SOLAS Reg. II/7. Sedangkan pada analisis ekonomis dilakukan perhitungan besarnya biaya modifikasi kapal dan analisis investasi kapal. Estimasi biaya modifikasi Insert Hull adalah sebesar Rp. 5.501.447.330,57 dengan nilai investasi NPV selama 10 tahun sebesar Rp. 5.132.524.128, IRR sebesar 16,93%, BEP pada 3,91 Tahun, dan PI sebesar 1,85.

Ketapang - Gilimanuk strait is one of the high density crossings in Indonesia where each year there is an increase in the number of production of Ketapang - Gilimanuk crossings. Seeing this condition, PT. Dharma Lautan Utama has the potential to increase their revenue where in 2017 only grew by 5 percent. One way to do this is by modifying Ro-Ro ship Dharma Ferry I with Insert Hull. Insert Hull length is obtained by analyzing the owner requirements on the Ketapang - Gilimanuk Crossing. The technical analysis will calculate the resistance and propulsion, ship construction, ship weight and center of weight, stability and trim of the ship, freeboard and tonnage. The economic analysis will be reviewed regarding modification costs, operational costs, income, and calculation of investment NPV, IRR, BEP, and PI. From the results of the owner requirements analysis, it was found that the total requirement for each trip of the Ketapang - Gilimanuk Crossing was 578,23 m2 so that a 7,5 m Insert Hull was needed. From the results of the analysis, the final main size of the vessel is obtained: Loa: 53,5 m, Lpp: 46,5 m, B: 12 m, H: 3 m, and T: 1,9 m with a vessel capacity of 266 passengers, 8 trucks and 14 cars. The ship designed has a total resistance (RT) of 59 kN, required the main engine re-powering 2 x 454 hp. Total weight of the ship (full load) obtained at 902,484 tons. The minimum freeboard height is 0,45 m with a maximum draft of 1,9 m, the vessel tonnage is 581 GT and 201,21 NT. All ship operational conditions meet the stability criteria of the BKI ship Volume 3 Guidelines on Intact Stability, and meet the trim criteria SOLAS Reg. II/7. Estimated modification costs is Rp. 5.501.477.330,57 with a value of NPV investment for 10 years amounting to Rp. 5.132.524.128, IRR of 16,93%, BEP of 3,91 Years, and PI of 1,85.
