Abstract

Ramp door adalah salah satu jenis pintu di kapal yang digunakan untuk akses keluar masuk penumpang dan kendaraan. Biasanya ramp door kapal ini terletak dibagian buritan kapal (stern ramp door) dan haluan kapal (bow ramp door). Dalam penerapannya ramp door harus dapat menerima beban yang sesuai dengan batas tegangan izinnya. Desain dan struktur ramp door harus dirancang sesuai dengan beban maksimum penumpang atau kendaraan. Analisis kekuatan konstruksi ramp door dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode elemen hingga dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil kekuatan konstruksi ramp door kapal Ro–Ro dengan penerapan kostruksi rectangular o-core sandwich panel. Analisis kekuatan menggunakan program berbasis elemen hingga. Pada penelitian ini variasi yang dilakukan adalah perubahan ketebalan pelat pada bagian sandwich structure sehingga didapatkan desain dengan nilai tegangan yang memenuhi tegangan izin namun memiliki berat yang ringan. hasil percobaan didapatkan desain rectangular o-core sandwich panel yang paling optimal dengan tinggi core 312 mm, ketebalan face 3 mm, ketebalan core 3 mm jarak antar core 200 mm dan lebar core 100 mm. Dengan besar tegangan yaitu 164 Mpa, deformasi 6.204 mm dan berat 11.652 ton.

Strength analysis of ramp door construction with the finite element method used to obtaining the strength of the Ro-Ro ship door ramp construction with rectangular o-core sandwich panel construction. In this study the variations carried out were changes in the thickness of the plates on the sandwich structure so that design was obtained with a stress value that met the permitted stress but had a light weight. The experimental results obtained the most optimal design of the rectangular o-core sandwich panel with 312 mm core height, 3 mm face thickness, 3 mm core thickness between 500 mm core distance and core width 100 mm. With a maximum stress of 164 Mpa, a deformation of 6.204 mm and a weight of 11.652 tons.
