Abstract
PT. SSC Works merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada Industri Remanufaktur dan bidang jasa perbaikan (General Repair) pada alat-alat mesin berat, otomotif dan industri. Untuk memperluas jangkauannya, PT SSC Works yang memiliki kantor pusat di Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur melebarkan sayap usahanya ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia dan cabang usaha yang terbaru berdiri sejak 2016 berada di Jawa Timur tepatnya di daerah Gresik dengan nama PT SSC Works Surabaya. PT SSC Works Surabaya masih pada tahap penyesuaian sehingga masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang terdapat pada proses produksi dalam proses bisnis perusahaan yang dikategorikan sebagai waste. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode Value Stream Mapping, dengan membuat Current State Map terlebih dahulu untuk memetakan kondisi proses produksi yang terdapat pada perusahaan. Didapatkan production lead time untuk memproduksi sebuah spindle rear 793C selama 2862 menit, dengan total process time sebanyak 1793 menit dan changeover time sebanyak 1069 menit. Untuk mengidentifikasi waste digunakan pembobotan yang diberikan kepada tujuh orang expert yang ada pada perusahaan. Waste yang telah teridentifikasi akan dikelompokkan menurut kategori seven waste, hasil dari pengelompokan kategori tersebut kemudian dirangking. Hasil dari pembobotan menunjukkan waste dengan bobot tertinggi yang terdapat berupa defect, unnecessary motion dan waiting. Berdasarkan hasil pembobotan, dilakukan pemilihan Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) dengan mengalikan bobot waste yang diperoleh dari kuisioner yang didapatkan dengan faktor pengali hubungan antara waste dengan VALSAT. Didapatkan tools Process activity mapping (PAM) dan Quality filter mapping (QFM) untuk mengatasi waste yang ada pada perusahaan. Analisis akar penyebab waste dengan diagram Ishikawa menunjukkan bahwa penyebab waste paling banyak disebabkan oleh kurangnya persiapan, human error, lack of knowledge, keterbatasan, dan miss communication. Berdasarkan akar penyebab waste, diberikan usulan perbaikan. Setelah diberikan rekomendasi, maka dapat digambarkan predisiksi dan implikasi manajerial berupa Future State Map dengan perubahan production lead time untuk memproduksi sebuah spindle rear 793C selama 2722 menit, dengan peningkatan value added activity sebanyak 8% dan penurunan non value added activity sebanyak 8%.

PT. SSC Works is a Remanufacturing services (General Repair) company in heavy machinery, automotive and industrial equipment. To expand its reach, PT SSC Works, which has its head office in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, expanded its business to various regions in Indonesia and the newest business branch was established in 2016 in East Java in the Gresik area under the name PT SSC Works Surabaya. PT SSC Works Surabaya is still in the adjustment stage so that there are still a number of problems found in the production process in the company's business processes which are categorized as waste. In this study the method used is the Value Stream Mapping method, by creating a Current State Map first to map the conditions of the production process that is contained in the company. Production lead time was obtained to produce a 793C spindle rear for 2862 minutes, with a total process time of 1793 minutes and a changeover time of 1069 minutes. To identify waste, weights are given to seven experts in the company. Waste that has been identified will be grouped according to the seven waste category, the results of grouping these categories are then ranked. The results of weighting indicate waste with the highest weight in the form of defects, unnecessary motion and waiting. Based on the weighting results, Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) was chosen by multiplying the weight of waste obtained from the questionnaire obtained by multiplying the relationship between waste and VALSAT. Process Activity Mapping (PAM) tools and Quality filter mapping (QFM) are obtained to overcome the waste that exists in the company. Analysis of the root causes of waste with the Ishikawa diagram shows that the causes of waste are mostly caused by lack of preparation, human error, lack of knowledge, limitations, and miss communication. Improvements proposed based on the root causes of waste. After giving recommendations, it can be described prediction and managerial implications in the form of Future State Map with changes in production lead time to produce a 793C spindle rear for 2722 minutes, with an increase in value added activity by 8% and a decrease in non value added activity by 8%.
