Abstract
Secara geografis Kabupaten Jombang memiliki letak yang sangat strategis, karena berada pada perlintasan jalur utama Surabaya-Madiun-Yogyakarta dan jalan provinsi Malang-Jombang-Babat. Kabupaten Jombang melalui Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah 2014 menjelaskan tentang 5 sektor unggulan Kabupaten Jombang, yaitu: pertanian, perkebunan, kehutanan, perikanan dan peternakan. Melihat potensi tersebut, Kabupaten Jombang telah merencanakan pengembangan sarana penunjang ekonomi melalui Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Jombang tahun 2009-2029 pasal 11 khususnya poin 3f yang berisi tentang peningkatan pelayanan prasarana dan sarana penunjang kegiatan ekonomi. Hal tersebut selaras dengan rencana Kemenhub tentang reaktivasi 1600 km rel mati Jawa dan Madura khususnya wilayah Jombang (Jombang-Ngimbang). Melihat potensi tersebut, maka diperlukan perencanaan reaktivasi rel wilayah Jombang-Ngimbang. Light Rail Transit (LRT) adalah salah satu sarana yang dapat dipertimbangkan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan akan transportasi masyarakat dilihat dari segi kualitas perjalanannya. Dengan adanya jalan rel dengan sistem LRT sebagai angkutan penumpang diharapkan dapat mengurangi jumlah kendaraan pribadi sehingga mengurangi kemacetan jalan raya Jombang-Ngimbang.
Dalam perencanaan jalan rel Jombang-Ngimbang diperlukan pengumpulan data sekunder berupa kondisi topografi, peta kontur Jombang-Ngimbang. Data yang diperoleh digunakan untuk merencanakan penentuan trase, perhitungan alinyemen horisontal dan alinyemen vertikal, perencanaan struktur jalan rel LRT dan lokasi stasiun. Dari hasil analisis, jalur baru direncanakan dengan menggunakan trase eksisting sebagai titik acuan yang dimulai dari arah Jombang-Ngimbang. Dalam perhitungan geometrik diperoleh panjang jalur 34,992 km dan didesain kecepatan rencana 60 km/jam menggunakan lengkung horisontal Spiral-Circle-Spiral dengan R minimum 85 m. Untuk analisis konstruksi, jalur kereta api Jombang - Ngimbang termasuk ke dalam kategori kelas jalan V dengan tebal lapisan balas 25 cm sedangkan lapisan sub balas dengan tebal 25 cm. Jalur kereta api didesain menggunakan tipe rel R42 dengan lebar sepur 1067 mm, menggunakan bantalan beton dengan jarak 60 cm. Penentuan lokasi stasiun berdasarkan lokasi stasiun yang pernah ada.

Geographically, Jombang Regency has a very strategic location because it is at the main crossing of Surabaya-Madiun-Yogyakarta and the Malang-Jombang-Babat provincial roads. Jombang Regency through the Regional Midterm Development Plan 2014 describes its 5 leading sectors namely: agriculture, plantation, forestry, fisheries and livestock. By seeing this potential, Jombang Regency has planned to develop economic support facilities through the Jombang Spatial Plans in 2009-2029 article 11, especially point 3f concerning improvements in infrastructure services and facilities to support economic activities. This is in line with the Ministry of Transportation’s plan regarding reactivation of 1600 km of inactive railways in Java and Madura, especially in the Jombang area (Jombang-Ngimbang). Seeing this potential, it is necessary to plan rail reactivation in the Jombang-Ngimbang area. Light Rail Transit (LRT) is one of the facilities that can be considered in fulfilling the need for public transportation in terms of the quality of the trip. With the existence of a railroad track with the LRT system as passenger and freight transport, it is expected to reduce the number of private vehicles and freight vehicles so as to reduce the congestion of the Jombang-Ngimbang highway. In planning Jombang-Ngimbang railroad, it is necessary to collect secondary data in the form of topographic conditions, contour maps of Jombang-Ngimbang. The data obtained is used to plan track determination, calculation of horizontal alignment and vertical alignment, LRT railroad structure planning and location of stations. From the analysis results, a new route is planned using the existing track as a reference point starting from the direction of Jombang-Ngimbang. In the geometric calculation, the path length of 34.992 km was obtained and the design speed of the plan was 60 km/h using the horizontal curve Spiral-Circle-Spiral with a minimum R of 85 m. For analysis of construction, the Jombang-Ngimbang railroad line is included in the category of road class V with a thickness of 25 cm ballast layer while the sub layer is ballast with 25 cm thick. The railway is designed using R42 rail type with a width used is 1067 mm, uses a concrete bearing with a distance of 60 cm. In determining the location of stations, it is based on the location of stations that have ever existed.
