Abstract
Berkurangnya pasokan irigasi pertanian.

Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is located in Wonogiri district, Central Java Province. Gajah Mungkur Reservoir was built as a flood control of the Bengawan Solo River. The reservoir that was built in 1982 is planned to have a useful value up to 100 years. However, the sedimentation that occurs causes the effectiveness of the reservoir to decrease. This can cause losses. As a result of the decreasing effectiveness of the Gajah Mungkur reservoir, it can cause potential flooding along the watershed. Reduced supply of agricultural irrigation. And also other economic losses that can be caused. The next problem found in the field is the lack of performance of the operating dredgers. At Gajah Mungkur Reservoir there is currently a Dredger with a depth of 6 m; 8 m; and 10 m, when the maximum water level occurs, the vessel cannot do dredging. In this study the determination of the type of dredger will be carried out accordingly, determining the main size of the ship, obtaining a line plan, general plan and 3-dimensional model. The method used to determine the type of dredger is to do a qualitative comparison based on existing field conditions, types of sediments, types of dredgers operating and dredging schemes. To determine the main size using the parent ship design method. Based on sediment characteristics, the existing field conditions and also the level of dredging accuracy, the determination of the appropriate type of dredger is Cutter Suction Dredger with capacity 500 m3/hour 15 m dredging capability. From the results of technical analysis, the main size of the ship is obtained, including LOA = 30.5 m, Lpp = 21.0 m, B = 9.20 m, H = 1.40 m, and T = 0.95 m.
