Abstract
Minyak nabati adalah salah satu komoditas pangan yang banyak digunakan dan dikonsumsi. Pencampuran lemak babi menjadi isu penting pada industri pangan dan minyak nabati. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh penambahan lapisan graphene pada sensor fiber SMS terhadap performa sensor dalam mendeteksi campuran minyak babi pada minya nabati. Lapisan graphene pada sensor SMS menggunakan metode dip coating. Penambahan lapisan graphene pada sensor SMS untuk pengukuran campuran minyak babi dalam minyak bungamatahari tidak memberikan penambahan performa sensor (range maupun sensitivitas). Penambahan lapisan graphene pada sensor SMS untuk pengukuran campuran minyak babi dalam minyak kelapa memberikan pengaruh penambahan performa sensor yaitu peningkatan range pengukuran dan sensitivitas. Sensitivitas naik dari 0.00046225 dBm/% campuran minyak babi, pada saat sebelum diberi lapisan graphene menjadi 0.00129975 dBm/% campuran minyak babi setelah diberi lapisan graphene untuk sampel minyak kelapa

Vegetable oils are widely used and consumed. Lard mixing on vegetable oil has become an important issue in the food and vegetable oil industry. The goal of this research is to understand the effect of graphene coating on sensor’s sensitivity to detect lard contaminant in vegetable oil. Addition of graphene coating on SMS fiber sensor didn’t give an increase on sensitivity to detect fiber lard contaminant on sunflower oil. However addition of graphene coating on SMS fiber sensor gave a sensitiviy increase for detecting lard contaminant in coconut oil. Sensor’s sensitivity increases from 0.00046225 dBm/% lard contaminant to 0.00129975 dBm/% lard contaminant.
