Abstract

Mesin press digunakan untuk melakukan proses pressing pada sebuah benda kerja. Mesin press pada pengoperasiannya masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan fungsi pushbutton, hal tersebut menyebabkan proses produksi pada satu benda kerja membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Mesin Press 30 Ton dibuat untuk merubah sistem operasional mesin press yang lama menjadi otomatis untuk memangkas waktu produksi. Penambahan sensor load cell pada Mesin Press 30 Ton digunakan untuk dapat mendeteksi nilai tekanan press aktual yang telah dicapai, serta penambahan perangkat touchscreen pada panel antarmuka juga diberikan untuk memonitor nilai tekanan press aktual dan media bagi operator menentukan besar nilai batas tekanan press. Mesin Press 30 Ton menggunakan kontroler PLC CJ2M-CPU12 untuk mengontrol semua perangkat input dan perangkat output pada mesin, serta melakukan proses pergerakan mesin secara berurutan (sekuensial). Analog PLC AD041-V1 pada kontroler PLC CJ2M-CPU12 digunakan untuk mengolah data tekanan yang dideteksi oleh sensor load cell. Hasil perubahan sistem kontrol operasional secara otomatis adalah terotomatisasinya proses pressing yang sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual, hal ini dapat memangkas waktu produksi dan tenaga operator, dengan tetap menjaga kualitas hasil pressing yang baik. Adanya penambahan perangkat touchscreen memudahkan operator dalam memonitor nilai tekanan pressing, dan operator dapat memasukkan batas tekanan press sebagai syarat untuk nilai tekanan press yang harus dicapai.

Press machine is a machine used to carry out the pressing process on a workpiece. Press machines in operation are still done manually using the pushbutton function, this causes the production process to take a long time. 30 Ton Press Machine is made to change the old press machine operational system to be automatic to cut production time. The addition of a load cell sensor on a 30 Ton Press Machine is used to be able to detect the actual press pressure value that has been achieved. The addition of a touchscreen device to the interface panel is also provided to monitor the value of the actual press pressure and the media for the operator to determine the value of the press pressure limit. The 30 Ton Press machine uses a CJ2M-CPU12 PLC controller to control all input and output devices on the machine, as well as carry out the sequential movement of machines. Analog PLC AD041-V1 on the PLC controller CJ2M-CPU12 is used to process pressure data detected by load cell sensors. The result of changes in the operational control system automatically is automation of the pressing process that was previously still done manually, this can cut production time and operator power, while maintaining good quality pressing results. The addition of a touchscreen device makes it easy for the operator to monitor pressing pressure values, and the operator can enter a press pressure limit as a condition for the value of press pressure to be achieved.
