Abstract
Perancangan galangan kapal membutuhkan perencanaan tepat dalam menentukan
fasilitas bengkel dan pekerjanya. Dalam penentuan fasilitas bengkel dan pekerjanya,
diperlukan perhitungan untuk mengetahui jumlah mesin yang dibutuhkan dalam
pembangunan hull constructions kapal. Tujuan tugas akhir ini adalah merancang aplikasi
berbasis komputer yang berdasarkan pada beban kerja, lama waktu pengerjaan dan kapasitas
mesin produksi. Pertama, dilakukan observasi dan pendataan mesin – mesin bengkel yang
digunakan dalam proses produksi kapal di galangan kapal, meliputi kecepatan kerja mesin,
tata letak mesin serta jumlah kebutuhan pekerja untuk tiap mesin. Kedua, dilakukan
perhitungan terhadap berat baja kapal serta kebutuhan pelat dan jumlah waktu pengerjaan
pada tiap bengkel, sehingga didapatkan hasil kebutuhan jumlah mesin bengkel beserta jumlah
pekerjanya. Ketiga, setelah perhitungan didapatkan, dilakukan perancangan aplikasi komputer
penentuan fasilitas bengkel galangan kapal dengan inputan dimensi utama kapal dan waktu
pengerjaan. Pada tahap akhir telah dilakukan simulasi untuk perhitungan kebutuhan mesin
dan pekerja bengkel dalam pembangunan kapal tanker 17.500 LTDW. Hasil dari tugas akhir
ini adalah suatu aplikasi berbasis computer CSF (Calculate Shipyard Facilities) yang dapat
digunakan untuk menghitung kebutuhan fasilitas bengkel produksi dan pekerjanya dengan
relatif lebih cepat. ========== In designing a shipyard, needs the right plan in determining the amount of workshops
and workers in each of the machinery in the workshop. In determining the facility of the
workshop and its workers, requires calculation to know the amount of machinery needed to
build the hull constructions of the ship. The purpose of the final project is to create a
computer based application that depends on the workload, the duration, and the capacity of
production machine. Firstly, observations and collecting data of the machines needs to be
done which is used in the process of building a vessel in a shipyard, including the velocity of
machines works, the layout of the machines and the amount of workers needed in each of the
machines. Secondly, requires the formula of calculations of steel weight of the ship with the
steel plate needed, and calculations of the time needed every workshop, so the calculation of
the number of machines and number of workers. Thirdly, designing the application computer
after get the formula of calculation to decided the workshop facilities of a shipyard with the
inputs the main dimensions of a ship and the duration of building the ship. Finally, calculate
the machines and workers needed in a workshop to build a tanker of a size 17.500 LTDW as
the simulated of the aplication. The result of this final project is a computer basis application
CSF (Calculate Shipyard Facilities) that can be used to calculate the amount of production
workshop facilities including the workers are needed more quickly.
