Abstract
Limbah cair non toksik yang dihasilkan Rumah Sakit
X terdiri dari limbah domestik dan limbah laundry dengan
kualitas yang masih belum memenuhi Keputusan Gubernur
Jawa Timur Nomor 72 Tahun 2013 tentang baku mutu air
limbah rumah sakit. Sehingga tujuan tugas akhir ini adalah
melakukan evaluasi kinerja IPAL dan review perencanaan
yang dilengkapi BOQ dan RAB pada IPAL yang tidak
efisien dan efektif.
Tahap evaluasi kinerja IPAL terdiri dari evaluasi
efisiensi kinerja IPAL untuk mengetahui kemampuan unit
pengolahan biologis dalam meremoval bahan organik dan
evaluasi efektivitas IPAL untuk mengetahui kualitas efluen
yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi Keputusan Gubernur Jawa
Timur Nomor 72 Tahun 2013.
Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diketahui bahwa desain
tiap unit IPAL tidak sesuai dengan kriteria desain. Selain
itu, efisiensi pengolahan pada unit activated sludge masih
rendah yaitu 26,13% dari efisiensi seharusnya 85%-95%.
Sehingga perbaikan yang dilakukan dengan melakukan
modifikasi desain, menambahkan pipa dan pompa lumpur
untuk sistem resirkulasi dengan total biaya perbaikan yang
dibutuhkan adalah sebesar Rp 101.250.523.

Non toxic wastewater in X Hospital that consists of
domestic wastewater and laundry wastewater for the
effluent quality still doesn’t meet Keputusan Gubernur Jawa
Timur No. 72 Tahun 2013 regarding for the wastewater
standard of hospital activity. So, the purpose of this thesis
was to evaluate the performance, review planning of
Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and make the
planning of BOQ RAB for the WWTP which not efficient and
effective.
The evaluation of WWTP performance are consists
of evaluation based on efficiency value to determine the
ability of biological treatment in reducing the organic
materials and evaluation to determine the effectivity of
WWTP in producing the quality of wastewater. The review
planning stage is based on the technical aspect that
compared with design criteria, the financial aspect is based
on the BOQ and RAB planning.
The evaluation result for the design of WWTP such
as the design of each WWTP is not like the design criteria
and the efficiency of activated sludge process is 26,13%,
the point shows the low efficiency, the efficiency criteria
should be between 85% and 95%. The recommendation to
make the design modifications and add slurry pipes and
pump for recirculation system need the total cost is Rp 101.
