Abstract
Dalam rangka mengatasi pergerakan pertumbuhan
penumpang yang meningkat di setiap tahunnya yaitu sekitar 8%
per tahun maka perlu dikembangkannya fasilitas terminal bandar
udara Syamsudin Noor. Beberapa fasilitas dalam suatu terminal
seperti curbside, check in area, waiting room, dan baggage claim
area merupakan komponen penting dalam pemrosesan
penumpang. Dengan demikian, perlu diadakannya evaluasi
kinerja dari masing-masing fasilitas (curbside, check in area,
waiting room, dan baggage claim area) pada saat kondisi
eksisting dan 5 tahun mendatang yang dihitung dengan
forecasting untuk mendapatkan hasil pertumbuhan penduduk.
Tugas akhir ini melakukan analisis kebutuhan luasan masingmasing
fasilitas terminal dan tingkat pelayanannya berdasarkan
pergerakan penumpang saat peak hour yang mengacu kepada
kerangka kerja LOS IATA (International Air Transport
Association) untuk fasilitas check in area, waiting room, dan
baggage claim area sedangkan evaluasi nilai LOS fasilitas
curbside menggunakan kerangka kerja LOS berdasarkan ACRP
(Airport Cooperative Research Program). Dari analisis yang
dilakukan, didapatkan hasil yang menyatakan bahwa fasilitas
pemrosesan memiliki nilai LOS yang cukup buruk (di bawah nilai
LOS C) sehingga perlu dilakukan suatu perbaikan pada masingii
masing area fasilitas terminal dengan cara menambah lajur
paralel dengan panjang 102,06 meter untuk fasilitas kerb,
menambah jumlah kursi sebanyak 950 buah untuk area ruang
tunggu keberangkatan, serta menambah luas ruangan pada area
cek-in menjadi 771,88 m2 dan area pengambillan bagasi menjadi
1102,4 m2

In order to control the growth of passenger movement
that always increasing 8% in each year, Syamsudin Noor Airport
needs to develop its facilities. Some facilities in a terminal such as
Curbside, Check in Area, Waiting room, and baggage claim area
are an important factor in processing the passenger. Therefore, it
needs performance evaluation from each facility fields (Curbside,
Check in Area, Waiting room, and Baggage claim area) on the
existing condition and the next 5 years. It is counted by
forecasting to get the civilian growth result. This final project did
the area requirement analysis of each terminals and the level of
service based on the passenger movement in peak hour. The
frame work of calculation was based on LOS IATA (International
Air Transport Association) for Check in Area, Waiting Room, and
Baggage Claim Area while Curbside LOS’s score used ACRP
(Airport Cooperative Research Program). The result of analysis
showed that the processing facility had a low LOS score (under
C) so it needs an improvement to increase the LOS score in the
passenger processing facility by adding a lane parallel with a
length of 102.06 meters for facility curb, increasing the number of
seats as many as 950 pieces for departure lounge area, as well as
add a spacious room on the check-in area becomes 771.88 m2
and the baggage claim area becomes 1102.4 m2
