Abstract

Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk menghitung nilai indeks keandalan pada sistem distribusi tegangan menengah 20kV di PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Rungkut dengan menggunakan metode Reliability Index Assessment (RIA) dengan memperhitungkan laju kegagalan berkelanjutan, laju kegagalan sesaat, waktu perbaikan, dan switching time dari setiap komponen dalam jaringan tersebut. Pada tugas akhir ini juga dilakukan studi untuk memperbaiki nilai indeks keandalan dengan penambahan komponen sectionalizer pada jaringan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis pada penyulang Berbek didapatkan nilai indeks keandalan SAIFI sebesar 3,6584 dan nilai indeks keandalan SAIDI sebesar 3,8858 sebelum dilakukan upaya peningkatan keandalan. Setelah melakukan perbaikan nilai indeks keandalan menggunakan ETAP 12.6.0 dan melakukan penambahan komponen load breaker switch pada jaringan maka didapat hasil perbaikan untuk nilai indeks keandalan SAIFI sebesar 2,8633dan nilai indeks keandalan SAIDI sebesar 3,4305.

This Final Project’s purpose is to count the reliability index values of a 20kV medium voltage distribution system at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Rungkut using Reliability Index Assessment method, based on sustained failure rate, momentary failure rate, repair time and switching time from each component in distribution line to get the reliability indexes in the system. This final project is to improve the reliability index values by adding sectionalizer component on the distribution line. According to the analysis result from Berbek feeder before improving the reliability index, value of SAIFI reliability index is 3,6584 and values of SAIDI reliability index is 3,8858, then after improving the reliability index value using ETAP 12.6.0 software by adding a load breaker switch component on the distribution line, the result of SAIFI reliability index value becomes 2,8633 and the SAIDI reliability index value becomes 3,4305.
