Abstract

Start up menyebabkan ekspansi menuju cold end, sementara saat shut down pipa mengalami penyusutan. Pipeline placed on the seabed in the deep sea with high internal temperatures and pressures during operation due to fluid flow in the pipeline. In addition, subsea pipelines often experience start up and shut down conditions. Start up causes expansion to the cold end, while the shut down pipe experiences shrinkage. These expansion and shrinkage events occur continuously for several cycles and cause the pipe to run into the cold end. This occuring phenomenon is called pipeline walking. This final project aims to determine the susceptibility of the pipe to the phenomenon of lateral buckling and pipeline walking analysis on the 27 km long pipe with ] 20 inches diameter caused by high pressure and temperature. With the expansion analysis conducted it can be seen that the distance of the anchor point from hot end is 1162 m with an expansion that occurs at 134 m and the distance of the anchor point from the cold end is 0.199 m with an expansion of 0.003 m .. From the analysis results it can be seen that the pipe susceptible to lateral buckling and the pipe is not susceptible to pipeline walking. From the analysis based on AUTOPIPE software it is known that the pipe is susceptible to displacement or displacement of nodes with a maximum displacement of 2796 mm on KP 2
