Abstract

PT. Petrokimia Gresik merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi pupuk. Salah satu tahap produksi pupuk adalah produksi ammonia. Dalam proses produksi ammonia sering terjadi kerusakan pada pompa-pompa yang digunakan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari lapangan mulai tahun 2015-2018 telah terjadi 26 kali kegagalan pada pompa-pompa milik PT. Petrokimia Gresik. Maka dari itu diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menaikkan nilai keandalan, menurunkan downtime dan biaya maintenance, serta merekomendasikan strategi perawatan yang optimal pada pompa-pompa milik PT.Petrokimia Gresik. Penelitian diawali dengan studi pendahuluan pada perusahaan untuk mengetahui kondisi awal perusahaan dan mendapatkan masalah yang harus diidentifikasi, kemudian dilakukan studi lapangan dan pustaka sehingga diketahui data apa yang perlu didapatkan untuk melakukan penelitian. Data yang perlu didapatkan merupakan data downtime dan kerusakan pompa serta biaya kerugian akibat downtime. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis akar penyebab kegagalan dengan fishbone diagram dan FMEA, kemudian dilakukan proses pengolahan data dengan menggunakan software Keandalan. Pada proses ini, data Time to Failure (TTF) diinput ke software sehingga distribusi yang paling cocok dan parameter-parameternya didapatkan. Kemudian nilai Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) dari pompa dapat dihitung. Perhitungan MTTF kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan nilai keandalan terhadap waktu pada masing-masing pompa. Setelah proses pengolahan data dilakukan, dibuat rekomendasi kegiatan perawatan untuk menghasilkan strategi perawatan yang optimal. Kegiatan perawatan yang direkomendasikan berupa preventive maintenance dimana pada Pompa JA dilakukan setiap 11000 jam, Pompa JB 13000 jam, dan Pompa JC 9000 jam, predictive maintenance, dan corrective maintenance. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah dilakukan permodelan maintenance antara lain: penurunan nilai downtime Pompa JA sebesar 48%, Pompa JB sebesar 50%, dan Pompa JC sebesar 71%; dan penurunan biaya pada Pompa JA sebesar 67%, Pompa JB sebesar 74%, dan Pompa JC sebesar 80%.

PT. Petrokimia Gresik is a company working on fertilizer production. One of the stages of fertilizer production is ammonia production. On the process of ammonia production, damages often occur on the pumps which are used. Based on data obtained from the field from 2015-2018, damages occurred 26 times on the pumps owned by PT Petrokimia Gresik. Therefore, research which can increase reliability, reduce downtime, reduce maintenance cost, and recommend optimal maintenance strategy for pumps owned by PT. Petrokimia Gresik is needed. The research began with a preliminary study on the company to find out the initial conditions of the company and to get the problem that has to be identified, then field study and literature study had to be done to get to know what kind of data that needed be obtained for the research. The data that needed to be obtained were downtime data and pumps’ damages also the cost of losses due to downtime. The next step was analyzing root cause of failures using fishbone diagram and FMEA, then the data was processed using Reliability software. In this process, Time to Failure (TTF) data were entered to the software so the most suitable distribution and its parameters could be obtained. Then, Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) of the pumps could be calculated. The calculation of MTTF then lead to the calculation of the reliability in respect of time on each pump. After the data processing was done, maintenance activities were made so they could be recommended to produce optimal maintenance strategies. The recommended maintenance activities are preventive maintenance where in JA Pump must be carried out every 11000 hours, in JB Pump must be carried every 13000 hours, and in JC Pump must be carried out every 9000 hours, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. The result obtained after the maintenance model has been done are: The downtime reduction of JA Pump by 48%, JB Pump 50%, and JC Pump 71%; and The cost reduction of JA Pump by 67%, JB Pump 51%, and JC Pump 87%.
