Abstract

Perancangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Pusaran Gravitasi Air dibuat dengan memanfaatkan peristiwa terbentuknya pusaran air (Vortex) pada wadah yang dalam percobaan kali ini berbentuk basin kerucut. Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pada posisi dimana turbin dapat nilai torsi dan rpm yang maksimal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan variasi ketinggian penempatan sudu turbin pada ketinggian 18cm, 20cm, 22cm, 24cm, dan 26cm dihitung dari permukaan air serta dengan debit air tetap yaitu 180 L/menit. Torsi maksimum yang dihasilkan (0,322694 ± 0,024) N.m sedangkan besar tegangan dihasilkan adalah sebesar (3,3862 ± 0,0015)V. =================================================================================================================================
The Design of a Power Plant The Water Gravity Vortex is created by utilizing the event of the formation of a whirlpool (Vortex) in the container which in this experiment was in the form of a cone basin. The purpose of this research is to find out in a position where the turbine can get maximum torque and rpm values. The study was carried out by using variations in the placement of turbine blades at an altitude of 18cm, 20cm, 22cm, 24cm, and 26cm calculated from the surface of the water as well as with a fixed water discharge of 180 L / minute. The maximum torque produced is (0,322694 ± 0,0024) N.m while the amount of voltage produced is (3.3862± 0,0015) V.
