Abstract

B100 merupakan bahan bakar alternatif yang akan digunakan selama beberapa tahun mendatang, melihat dari kecenderungan pemakaian biodiesel di Indonesia saat ini sudah menggunakan B20. Pada penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengetahui performa serta perbandingan biodiesel 100 minyak kelapa sawit dengan dexlite milik PT Pertamina yang diperjual belikan di SPBU. Metode yang digunakan penulis pada penelitian ini adalah den gan metode eksperimen.
Berdasarkan uji performa biodiesel 100% minyak kelapa sawit dan Dexlite milik PT Pertamina didapatkan daya 5,14 kW dan B100 sebesar 5,12 kW. Torsi Dexlite 23,35 Nm dan B100 sebesar 23,28 Nm. Efisiensi thermal Dexlite 40,61 % dan B100 37,67 %. BMEP dari Dexlite 594,32 dan B100 sebesar 592,68 kpa. SFOC Dexlite 208,09 g/kWh dan B100 sebesar 224,35 h/kWh. Dari hasil uji performa dapat disimpulkan bahwa efisiensi thermal dan SFOC yang dihasilkan bahan bakar Dexlite lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Biodiesel 100 minyak kelapa sawit. Namun untuk hasil dari BMEP, Daya dan Torsi cenderung sama dan berselisih sedikit.

B100 is an alternative fuel that will be used over the next few years, looking at the trend in the use of biodiesel in Indonesia currently using B20.
This research is focused to find out the performance and comparison of palm oil biodiesel 100 with PT Pertamina's dexlite which is traded at gas stations. The method used by the author in this study is the experimental method.
Based on the 100% biodiesel performance test of palm oil compared to PT Pertamina's Dexlite, it obtained a power of 5.14 kW and a B100 of 5.12 kW. Dexlite torque of 23.35 Nm and B100 of 23.28 Nm. The thermal efficiency of Dexlite is
40.61% and B100 is 37.67%. The BMEP of Dexlite is 594.32 and B100 is 592.68 kpa. SFOC Dexlite 208.09 g / kWh and B100 of 224.35 h / kWh. From the performance test results it can be concluded that the thermal efficiency and SFOC produced by Dexlite fuel are better than Biodiesel 100 palm oil. But for the results of BMEP, Power and Torque tend to be the same and disagree a little.
