Abstract

Di PG Tjoekir membutuhkan sebuah pesawat pengangkat untuk mengangkut limbah sisa produksi untuk memindah abu ampas tebu ini menggunakan chain conveyor. Namun di PG Tjoekir didapatkan rantai yang digunakan pada chain conveyor sudah banyak berkarat dan sudah berumur lama sehingga menurunkan efektifitas dari chain conveyor. Dalam buku ini akan dibahas tentang perhitungan chain conveyor meliputi pemilihan rantai utama, daya yang dibutuhkan, rantai dan sproket penggerak juga bearing . Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut diatas maka dilakukan studi literatur dan observasi lapangan. Setelah itu dilakukan pengambilan data dan melakukan perencanaan. Perencanaan yang dilakukan meliputi jenis rantai yang digunakan, kecepatan konveyor , jumlah gigi sproket rantai utama, panjang rantai utama , perencanaan rantai dan sproket penggerak, dan prediksi umur bearing. Hasil perhitungan menunnjukkan conveyor ini memiliki panjang rantai 49 meter dengan kecepatan 20 m/min menggunakan rantai nomor DK09150R, roller jenis R, attachment SA2. Dari data perhitungan diperlukan daya sebesar 14,372 kW , dengan menggunakn rantai penggerak no 120 diameter pitch sproket besar 606,778 mm putaran 13,1 rpm dan diameter pitch sproket kecil 159,2 mm putaran 26,7 rpm. Juga menggunakan bearing single row cylindrical roller bearing dengan diameter dalam 60 mm.

In PG Tjoekir requires a lifting aircraft to transport the waste of production to move this bagasse ash using a chain conveyor. But in PG Tjoekir, it is found that the chains used in the conveyor chain have been rusty and have long-lived, thus reducing the effectiveness of the chain conveyor. This book discusses the calculation of the conveyor chain including the selection of the main chain, the required power, the chain and the sprocket drive also the bearing. To achieve the above objectives, a literature study and field observation were carried out. After that, data collection and planning are carried out. Planning includes the type of chain used, conveyor speed, number of main chain sprocket gears, length of main chain, chain planning and sprocket drive, and bearing life prediction. The calculation results show this conveyor has a length of 49 meters with a speed of 20 m / min using the chain number DK09150R, roller type R, SA2 attachment. From the calculation data, a power of 14.372 kW is required, using a no. 120 drive chain, a large sprocket pitch diameter of 606.777 mm, a round of 13.1 rpm and a small diameter sprocket pitch of 159.2 mm, a rotation of 26,7 rpm. Also uses single row cylindrical roller bearings with an inner diameter of 60 mm.
