Abstract

Sebuah kawasan akan menjadi tidak ideal ketika kerusakan lingkungan semakin meluas. Kerusakan lingkungan yang paling disorot adalah kondisi fisik lingkungan. Terdapat banyak kawasan yang menjadi permukiman kumuh dan mengganggu kualitas hidup manusia. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor antara lain tingginya angka urbanisasi, pertumbuhan kepadatan penduduk dan berkurangnya area tempat tinggal manusia. Oleh karena itu, hal tersebut harus ditangani melalui sektor permukiman dan sektor lingkungan. Dengan merespon tingginya angka urbanisasi di area industri maka Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut adalah kawasan paling potensial untuk ditangani. Sehingga objek arsitektural yang diusulkan adalah hunian vertikal sewa bagi pelaku urbanisasi dan penduduk musiman di Surabaya. Metode desain yang digunakan berdasarkan pada metode pencarian masalah. Fakta-fakta menentukan perfomance requirements dan konsep desain. Objek arsitektural ini menggunakan pendekatan ekologi arsitektur sehingga objek seharusnya mampu menjawab masalah permukiman di kawasan Rungkut Industri. Hunian vertikal sewa ini menerapkan konsep modular arsitektur pada setiap unitnya. Jenis modul berdasarkan pada skala manusia dan kebutuhan ruang gerak manusia. Sehingga terbentuk modul dengan ukuran 2,4 meter x 2,4 meter x 2,4 meter. Modul tersebut dapat diproduksi secara fabrikasi. Konsep ekologi arsitektur yang diterapkan adalah sustainable constraction, green living environment dan social cohesion. ================================================================================================= An area will be not ideal when the damaged environment was more widespread. The most highlighted from the damaged environment issue is the condition of the physical environment. There are many area growing into the slum and disturb the quality of human life. That is caused by some factors such as the high number of urbanization, population density that growing up and decreased area for dwelling. So then, it is must be handled by cover the settlement sector and the environment sector. By responding the high number of urbanization in industrial areas then Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut is be the most potential area to fixed. So, the proposed architectural object is flat house for urban and temporal population in Surabaya. The design method that used is based by searching problems method. The facts determined the performance requirements and the concept design. The architectural object used ecology architecture approach then it should fix the dwelling problems in Rungkut Industri areas. Flat house object applied modular architecture concept for each unit. Type of module is based on human scalling and human space necessary. So then, it formed the module that have measurement 2,4 meter x 2,4 meter x 2,4 meter. The module can be produced by fabricated production. Ecology concept that applied in this architectural object is sustainable construction, green living environment and social cohesion.
