Abstract
Permasalahan dalam pemantauan penggunaan air di PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara Solution dimana tagihan biaya penggunaan air pada Divisi Manufakturing dan Kalibrasi terdapat dalam satu tagihan yang sama sehingga tagihan biaya tiap divisi tidak jelas bagaimana rincian tiap pemakaian airnya. Tagihan biaya yang tidak sesuai dengan penggunaan air inilah yang membuat Divisi Manufakturing merasa dirugikan karena tagihan biaya lebih besar daripada penggunaan air yang dirasa cukup minim.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatlah alat Monitoring Pemakaian Air Otomatis Menggunakan Water Flow Sensor Reed Switch Di PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara. Perlu diketahui bahwa sistem monitoring volume air pada meteran air ini menggunakan media komunikasi Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) yang menggunakan alat pengukur debit air yang dilengkapi dengan sensor reed switch dan berbasis Arduino pengiriman data hasil pembacaan alat debit air dengan menggunakan media komunikasi GSM yang diterima setiap hari secara otomatis dan terus-menerus. Alat ini juga yang menjadi acuan berapa besar biaya air yang harus dibayarkan pelanggan, tanpa harus ada pengecekan dari pihak penyedia layanan air tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pada alat dimana data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa debit air maksimum mencapai 0,000033 m3/sekon

Problems in monitoring water use at PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara Solution, where the bill for water use costs in the Manufacturing and Calibration Division is on the same bill, so the cost of each division is unclear how the details of each water usage are. This cost bill is not in accordance with the use of water which makes the Manufacturing Division feel disadvantaged because the cost bills are greater than the use of water which is considered quite minimal. To overcome this problem, an Automatic Water Usage Monitoring Device Using a Reed Switch Water Flow Sensor at PT. National gas Company. Please note that the water volume monitoring system on this water meter uses the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) communication media which uses a water discharge meter equipped with a reed switch sensor and an Arduino based data transmission reading of the results of the water discharge tool using the GSM communication media that is accepted every day automatically and continuously. This tool is also a reference for how much water costs the customer must pay, without having to check from the water service provider. Based on the results of testing on the tool where the data obtained shows that the maximum water discharge reaches 0.000033 m3 / second
