Abstract
Tingginya tingkat overtime akibat meningkatnya permintaan konsumen
telah mendorong penelitian untuk mencari solusi guna efisiensi waktu yang
dibutuhkan pada saat operasional. Berbagai alternatif perbaikan yang telah
dilakukan saat ini hanya sebatas pertukaran fungsi kerja masing-masing operator
dan penambahan peralatan. Sementara tata letak gudang yang sudah tidak sesuai
dengan kebutuhan kurang mendapatkan perhatian. Banyak produk yang tergolong
fast moving terletak jauh dari depot sedangkan produk yang tergolong slow
moving berada didekat depot.
Perancangan ulang tata letak gudang EDC dengan perangkat lunak excel
melalui penerapan metode ABC diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan kepada
pihak manajemen guna mengurangi jarak perpindahan barang sehingga
berdampak pada efisiensi biaya gudang terutama biaya overtime.

Higher levels of overtime due to increased consumer demand has
encouraged research to find solutions for the efficiency of the time required at the
operational time. Various alternative improvements that have been made at this
time was limited to the exchange of the work function of each operator and
equipment additions. While the layout of the warehouse that are not in accordance
with the requirements received less attention. Many products are classified as fast
moving away from the depot located while the products are classified as slow
moving to be near the depot.
Re-design the layout of the warehouse EDC with excel software through
the application of the ABC method is expected to provide inputs to the
management in order to reduce the displacement of finished goods so the impact
on the efficiency of warehouse costs, especially the cost of overtime.
