Abstract

beroperasi, maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem tambat.
memenuhi safety factor menurut American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) untuk
kondisi intact (ULS) yaitu lebih besar dari 1,67. Besar tegangan maksimum (Von
=====================================================================================================
FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading) is a floating facility that operates on an oil
and gas offshore source. Its function is for receiving, keeping, and distributing the
hydrocarbon mainly to the shuttle tanker. In its place, FSO will be charged by the
environmental loads. It makes the FSO will be dynamic. It needs a tether system
to reduce and keep the FSO, so that it will stay in the its operation place. The
analysis of tether system is needed to check the strength of that system so the
offshore operation can be done safely. In this final project, the anchor chain
strength analysis has been done on the Single Point Mooring CALM (Catenary
Anchored Leg Mooring) model buoy that tethered FSO and shuttle tanker. Due to
know the movement attitude between Single Point Mooring, FSO Arco Ardjuna,
and Shuttle Tanker that caused by water environment charge on the tethered
condition, it will be got the tension scale on the anchor legs from some charging
configuration. RAO of SPM tend to have maximum condition when FSO was on
full load condition and the Rolling rotation movement came with 900 Beam Sea
phase with 2.944 rad/sec for the frequency. By using Finite Element Method
(FEM), result of the analysis that appeared was the tension on the anchor legs was
1662.35 kN on the 2nd anchor leg with 900 direction with 4.24 safety factor. This
result fulfils the safety factor based on American Bureau Shipping (ABS) for
intact condition (ULS) is bigger than 1.67. The maximum strength (Von Mises
stress) on the anchor chain was 311.24 Mpa. It smaller than the Yield Strength
that multiplies by 0.9 as much as 369 Mpa. So, it passes the rule and standard that
used by ABS.
