Abstract

Korosi dapat dikatakan sebagai suatu peristiwa elektrokimia antar logam dengan lingkungannya yang menghasilkan senyawa yang tidak dikehendaki. Korosi sendiri tidak dapat dihentikan namun dapat dikurangi kelajuannya. Apabila suatu material logam mengalami korosi akan memungkinkan logam tersebut mengalami kerusakan, kebocoran hingga mengalami ledakan. Tiang pancang dermaga adalah sebuah bangunan yang hampir setiap bagiannya tersusun oleh material yang mudah terkorosi. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan perlindungan terhadap struktur tiang pancang yang terkena korosi, sehingga dapat bekerja dengan maksimum sesuai dengan sistem kerja dan mampu berfungsi sesuai umur yang telah yang direncanakan. Pada studi ini telah dilakukan analisa sistem perlindungan yang sesuai untuk digunakan oleh strukur tiang pancang dermaga, guna menggantikan sistem perlindungan yang lebih dulu terpasang menjadi lebih efisien dan permanen. Sistem perlindungan yang dipilih adalah impressed current cathodic protection dengan menggunakan anoda MMO tubular sebanyak 40 buah yang akan memproteksi struktur dari serangan korosi selama 20 tahun, dengan rencana kebutuhan meliputi pembelian bahan, instalasi, dan maintenance yang menghabiskan biaya sebesar Rp 4.421.733.000,00. Sedangkan untuk metode sacrificial anode menggunakan 21.958 kg anoda aluminium stand-off selama 20 tahun, dengan rencana kebutuhan meliputi pembelian bahan, instalasi, dan maintenance menghabiskan biaya sebesar Rp. 6.664.173.000,00.

Corrosion can be regarded as an event electrochemical metal to metal with its environment that produces a compound that is not desired. Corrosion itself can not be stopped but it can be reduced its speed. When a metal material corroded metal will allow the damaged, leaking up having a blast. Pile dock is a building that almost every part is composed of material that easily corroded. The layout of the dock itself which is in seawater and exposed to the electrochemical reaction to its environment makes this building will be more rapidly the corrosion process. Therefore it is necessary for the protection of the structure of piles are exposed to corrosion, so it can work with a maximum in accordance with the working system and is able to function with age that has been planned. This study has analyzed the appropriate protection system for use by the structure of the stake, in order to replace the system of protection inserted into more efficient and permanent. Protection system chosen was impressed current cathodic protection using tubular MMO anodes were 40 pieces that will protect the structure from corrosion attack for 20 years, with a requirement plan includes the purchase, installation, and maintenance of materials at a cost of Rp 4.421.733.000,00. As for the use of 21.958 kg sacrificial anode aluminum anode stand-off over 20 years, with a requirement plan includes the purchase of materials, installation, and maintenance cost of Rp. 6.664.173.000,00.
