Abstract
Pembangunan bandara baru di Yogayakarta diperlukan akibat jumlah wisatawan yang terus meningkat dan tidak mampu ditampung oleh bandara lama. Lokasi bandara baru tersebut berada di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Kabupaten Kulon Progo memiliki Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) hingga sebesar 0.4 g. Di samping itu, lokasi bandara tersebut memiliki kondisi tanah yang didominasi tanah pasir. Mengingat kondisi tanah yang didominasi oleh tanah pasir dan nilai PGA yang cukup tinggi, lokasi tersebut memungkinkan memiliki potensi terjadinya likuifaksi. Akibat potensi likuifaksi tersebut, dalam pembangunan bandara telah dilakukan pemadatan tanah. Saat ini, gedung terminal bandara setinggi 3 lantai dan 1 basement telah dibangun menggunakan pondasi bored pile sepanjang 26 meter serta runway telah dibangun dengan panjang 3250 m dan lebar 45 m. Tugas akhir ini membahas perhitungan lapisan tanah yang berpotensi likuifaksi pada data tanah sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan tanah, analisis evaluasi pondasi eksisting pada gedung terminal, dan perencanaan alternatif pondasi dangkal pada area runway dan gedung terminal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui lapisan tanah yang berpotensi likuifaksi dengan data tanah sebelum pemadatan pada area runway sedalam 2 m dan pada area gedung terminal sedalam 4 m. Namun, hasil kedalaman lapisan tanah yang berpotensi likuifaksi berdasarkan data tanah sesudah pemadatan pada area runway sedalam 1 m dan tidak ditemukan potensi likuifaksi pada area gedung terminal. Perencanaan pondasi cakar ayam pada area runway memiliki dimensi 3250 m x 45 m dengan tebal 0.30 m serta panjang pipa diketahui sebesar 10m. Berdasarkan hasil analisis evaluasi pondasi eksisting gedung terminal, diketahui tidak semua pondasi memiliki hasil evaluasi yang memuaskan dari segi beban aksial, momen lateral. Perencanaan alternatif pondasi dangkal pada gedung terminal tidak dapat digunakan karena SF bearing capacity kurang dari satu (1) dan settlement yang terjadi melampaui settlement maksimum yang disyaratkan. =====================================================================================================
A new airport in Yogyakarta is strongly needed due to the increasing number of tourist and it cannot be accommodated by the old airport. The location of it is in Kulon Progo. It has Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) up to 0.4 g. In addition, the airport has soil conditions that are dominated by sandy soil. Considering those conditions, the airport may be liquefiable. As a result of that, the soil compaction has been carried out. The airport’s terminal building, as high as 3 floors and 1 basement, has been built using a-26-meter-long bored pile foundation also the runway has been built with 3250 m x 45 m dimension. This project discusses the calculation of liquefiable soil layers in before and after soil improvement conditions, evaluation of current foundations in terminal building, and design alternative of shallow foundations both in runway and terminal building. Based on the calculations, it is known that the liquefiable layer of soils in before improvement condition in the runway as deep as 2 meters and in the terminal building as deep as 4 meters. However, the liquefiable layer of soils in after improvement condition in the runway as deep as 1 meter and no liquefiable layers found in terminal building. The design alternative of chicken foot foundation in the runway has dimensions of 3250 m x 45 m with a thickness of 0.30 m and pipe length known to be 10 meters. After analyzing the current foundations, it is known that not all foundations have satisfactory results in terms of axial load, lateral moment. The design alternative of shallow foundations, both chicken foot foundation and spider web foundations, cannot be used because it has safety factor of bearing capacity less than one (1) and the settlement exceeds the maximum.
