Abstract

Penulis membahas tentang alternatif perencanaan pondasi dan dinding penahan tanah dari graving dock sebagai salah satu fasilitas dalam galangan kapal. Permasalahan di lapangan berupa tanah lunak di sisi selatan dari lokasi perencanaan. Perencanaan akan dipertimbangkan berdasarkan kestabilan struktur dan biaya alternatif yang paling ekonomis dengan memperhitungkan gaya tekan dari tanah, air tanah, beban surcharge, gaya uplift pada dasar tanah, dan beban dari kapal.
Hasil analisis perencanaan pondasi akan dipasang pondasi tiang pancang pada kedalaman 21 m dengan menggunakan 2 variasi, pada sisi tepi graving dock digunakan tiang pancang D150 dan pada sisi tengah D120. Perencanaan dinding penahan tanah dibagi menjadi 2 sisi, yaitu sisi darat dan sisi laut. Pada sisi darat direncanakan 2 alternatif yaitu gravity wall dan geotextile wall, sedangkan pada sisi laut direncanakan dinding turap dan dinding soldier pile. Hasil perhitungan pada perencanaan di sisi darat dipilih geotextile wall dan pada sisi laut dipilih alternatif dinding turap.

Writter will discuss about alternative of the foundation and retaining wall as a main structure of graving dock. The problem for this construction is soft soil that will be the base of our structure at the south of soil test location. Graving dock construction planning will be carried out by considering structural stability and safety using the least cost, that will calculate lateral pressure from soil, water pressure, surcharge load, uplift force, and ship load.
Analysis result of the driven pile foundation will be put at the depth 21 m and using 2 variation, at the edge of graving dock will use D150 pile and at the center will use D120 pile. The design of the retaining wall consist of land zone and sea zone. The land zone will be planned using 2 alternative, that is gravity wall and geotextile wall, meanwhile in the sea zone will be planned using sheet pile and soldier pile as a wall. The result of the analysis are using geotextile wall in the land zone and sheet pile in the sea zone
