Abstract

Konsep ruang metrik mengalami banyak perluasan, salah satu contohnya adalah ruang metrik parsial rectangular. Ruang metrik parsial rectangular secara khusus merupakan perluasan dari ruang metrik parsial dan ruang metrik rectangular. Masalah yang sering dibahas di dalam ruang metrik adalah masalah eksistensi dan ketunggalan titik tetap kontraksi Banach. Titik tetap kontraksi Banach sendiri mengalami perkembangan salah satu contohnya titik tetap pemetaan quasi-kontraksi. Pada tugas akhir ini diperoleh syarat cukup dari eksistensi dan ketunggalan titik tetap pemetaan quasi-kontraksi di dalam ruang metrik parsial rectangular. Lebih lanjut, dikonstruksi contoh yang menunjukkan masalah eksistensi dan ketunggalan titik tetap pemetaan quasi-kontraksi di dalam ruang metrik parsial rectangular.

Concept of metric space has many extensions, one example is rectangular partial metric spaces. Rectangular partial metric spaces are specifically an extension of partial metric spaces and rectangular metric spaces. A problem that is often discussed in metric spaces is the problem of the existence and uniqueness of fixed point Banach contraction. The fixed point Banach contraction itself has developed one of them is the principle of quasi-contraction mapping. In this final project, sufficient conditions are obtained from the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of quasi-contraction mapping in rectangular partial metric spaces. Furthermore, will be constructed of an example showing the problem of the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of quasi-contraction mapping in rectangular partial metric spaces.
