Abstract

The potential of marine tourism in Indonesia is very large which is supported by the beauty of the underwater. One of Indonesia's underwater beauty tourism potentials is Bunaken National Park in North Sulawesi. Bunaken National Park which consists of several islands in it holds a lot of beauty of coral reefs and diversity of underwater fauna. Supporting facilities become one of the reasons for tourist attractions. Therefore, in this Final Project a semi-submarine tour boat design is carried out using a hydrogen fuel cell system which is directly produced on board from the sea so that it can reduce carbon emissions from ship disposal. Semi-submarine is a ship which has space under the hull of the ship and is covered by transparent acrylic windows to enjoy the underwater scenery. In this Final Project, the first technical analysis is to determine the ship payload based on the number of tourists in Manado. After the payload is obtained, a suitable main dimension is searched within Parent Ship Design. Then do the calculation of obstacles, power, ship weight, stability, trim, and hull arise to design the Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, and 3D model. In addition, an economic analysis was also carried out covering building costs, operational costs, and ticket pricing. The ship is designed to have a payload of 38 passengers, 5 crew members, with the main dimensions Length (Lpp): 23 m; Width (B): 5 m; Height (H): 3.5 m; Draught (T) 2.2 m; Speed (Vs): 8 Knots with Bunaken Island route, Manado Tua Island, and Siladen Island. The cost of building a ship is Rp 6,105,003,915 and an operational cost is Rp 2,244,492,618.
