Abstract
Tingginya elektrifikasi masyarakat mendorong perusahaan untuk sama-sama mendukung dalam menciptakan dan memproduksi energi listrik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik perkapita negara. Salah satu perusahaan nasional yang berpartisipasi dalam jasa pembangkitan listrik di Indonesia adalah PT ‘X’. Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) yang ada di PT ‘X’ memiliki mekanisme kerja mirip dengan boiler untuk tempat pemanasan air dengan memanfaatkan gas buang dari turbin gas agar menghasilkan uap yg dapat digunakan pada turbin uap dan menggerakkan generator sehingga menghasilkan listrik. Oleh sebab itu, HRSG menjadi salah satu peralatan utama yang sangat penting karena memiliki peran untuk menjaga kestabilan dan efisiensi PLTGU di PT ‘X’ sehingga perlu dilakukan pengendalian sebagai salah satu cara untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas gas buang. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan pengendalian kualitas pada dua karakteristik kualitas gas buang menggunakan diagram kontrol Max-MCUSUM, yaitu gas flow dan gas temperature. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa proses gas buang secara multivariat telah terkendali, tetapi kinerja proses gas flow dan gas temperature belum kapabel dengan tingkat presisi dan akurasi yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perbaikan atau perhitungan kapabilitas proses dengan pembobotan yang berbeda antar karakteristik kualitas.

The high electrification of the community encourages companies to be equally supportive in creating and producing electrical energy to fulfill the country's per capita electricity needs. One of the national companies participating in electricity generation services in Indonesia is PT ‘X’. The Steam Heat Recovery Generator (HRSG) at PT ‘X’ has a mechanism similar to a boiler for water heating by utilizing exhaust gas from a gas turbine to produce steam that can be used in a steam turbine and moving the generator to produce electricity. Therefore, HRSG has become one of the main equipment which is very important because it has a role to maintain the stability and efficiency of PLTGU in PT ‘X’ so that it needs to be controlled as a way to maintain and improve the quality of exhaust gas. In this study, quality control will be performed on two characteristics of exhaust gas quality using the Max-MCUSUM control chart, namely gas flow and gas temperature. The analysis results obtained that the multivariately exhaust gas process has been controlled, but the performance of the gas flow and gas temperature processes are not yet capable with a low level of precision and accuracy, hence it is necessary to improve or calculate the capability of the process with different weighting between quality characteristics.
