Abstract

Membran rapat asimetris CaTiO3 telah dibuat dari oksida
perovskit CaTiO3 tanpa retak. Tahapan yang dilakukan dalam
pembuatan membran rapat asimetris CaTiO3 yaitu sintesis oksida
perovskit CaTiO3 dengan metode solid state, metode inversi fasa
rendam-endap dengan polieterimida sebagai binder polimer, dan
tahap sintering. Suhu sintering sangat menentukan morfologi
akhir membran rapat asimetris. Suhu sintering yang digunakan
adalah 890°C, 1100°C dan 1200°C. Fasa kristal CaTiO3 dianalisa
menggunakan X-Ray Difraction (XRD), menunjukkan kesesuaian
dengan standard International Center Difraction Data. Foto
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) menunjukkan telah
terbentuk membran rapat asimetris dengan struktur pori fingerlike.

1200°C menghasilkan membran yang kuat dan tanpa retak
dengan koefisien muai panas 12,78×10

19,4-25,8 Hv. Semakin tinggi suhu sintering membran, kerapatan
membran dan kekerasan membran semakin tinggi, porositas dan
koefisien muai panas rendah

Asymmetric dense membrane of CaTiO3 type perovskit
had been prepared from CaTiO3 perovskit oxide without crack.
Preparation of asymmetric dense membrane CaTiO3 consist of
synthesized of CaTiO3 perovskite oxide, phase inversionimmersion
method
which
polyetherimide
(PEI)
as
polymer
binder

and

sintering technique. The final membrane morphology
depended by sintering temperature. Sintering temperature was
used 890°C, 1100°C, 1200°C. Crystal phase of CaTiO3
characterized with X-Ray Difraction (XRD) approach with
International Center Difraction Data. standart. Scanning
Electron Microscope (SEM) photo showed that asymmetric dense
membrane has been formed with pores structure finger-like. The
mechanical properties was tested by Thermomechanical Analyzer
(TMA) and Micro Vickers Hardness. Thermal expansion
coeficient of membranes are 10,82 and 12,78×10
-6
-1
C
. Hardness
of membrane ranged from 3,5-25,8 Hv. Sintering tempature
membrane 1200°C produce strong membrane without crack and
has thermal expansion coeficient of 12.78×10
-6
-1
C
and 19,4 to
25,8 Hv for hardness values. The higher sintering temperature of
the membrane results the higher the density and hardness., the
lower porosity
