Abstract

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport or Soekarno Hatta
The International Airport (SHIA) is Indonesia's largest and main airport. Administratively, this airport is located in the city of Tangerang, Banten. The airport is only about 20 kilometers miles) west of the capital, DKI Jakarta. Currently, the number of motorized vehicle movements to and from Soekarno-Hatta is quite high, in line with the number of aircraft passengers reaching 60-70 million passengers per year. Every month, taxis at Soekarno-Hatta serve up to 200,000 passenger trips, and buses make up about 29,000 trips. Meanwhile, the movement of motorized vehicles passing the Sedyatmo toll gate to and from the airport on weekdays and weekends can reach 1,500 passenger cars (smp) / hour during rush hour. The movement on other roads at the airport and its surroundings can be more than that, which ranges from 2,000-6,000 pcu / hour. (Barus, 2019)
The continued project of Soekarno Hatta International Airport accessibility work is one of the projects of PT. Angkasa Pura is present as an effort to improve airport traffic infrastructure so that motorized vehicles in the Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang and Jakarta areas become integrated. Vehicle motorized vehicles also have a number of alternatives, either from the North Perimeter Road directly to the South Perimeter and vice versa, or from the North Perimeter / South Perimeter towards the airport / Jakarta.
