Abstract

PT. Paiton Operation & Maintenance Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembangkit listrik tenaga uap dan terbesar di Indonesia. Dalam menjalankan operasional perusahaan terdapat kendala yang dapat memicu terjadinya konflik internal karena adanya penurunan insentif bagi karyawan Divisi Maintenance dan Engineer. Hal ini membuat karyawan merasa tidak dihargai, mengalami stres dalam bekerja, dan keterlibatan karyawan sangat sedikit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konflik kerja dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Divisi Maintenance dan Engineer di PT. Paiton Operation & Maintenance Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online dengan total 107 karyawan gabungan dari Divisi Maintenance dan Engineer. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa konflik kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa stres kerja tidak mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian juga memberikan rekomendasi dan implikasi manajerial berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini, agar perusahaan dapat menerapkan dan mengutamakan kualitas sumber daya manusia untuk memaksimalkan kinerja karyawan.

PT. Paiton Operation and Maintenance Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of steam power generation and is the largest in Indonesia. In carrying out the company's operations, there are obstacles that can trigger internal conflicts due to a decrease in incentives for employees of the Maintenance and Engineer Division. This makes employees feeling unappreciated, experiencing stress at work, and very little employee involvement.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a work conflict and work stress on the performance of the Maintenance and Engineer Division employees at PT. Paiton Operation & Maintenance Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires with a total of 107 employees combined from the Maintenance and Engineer Division. Data analysis in this study used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method of Smart PLS. The results of this study state that work conflict have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The research findings also prove that job stress does not affect employee performance. The results of the study also provide recommendations and managerial implications based on the results of the analysis in this study, so that the company can implement and prioritize the quality of human resources to maximize employee performance.
