Abstract

Tahun 2019, terdapat lima kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Bali yang memiliki skor Indeks Ketahanan Pangan tertinggi se-Indonesia. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat ketahanan pangan Provinsi Bali baik, meskipun demikian banyak permasalahan yang harus ditangi sejak dini. Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan wisatawan di Provinsi Bali sebanding dengan tingginya tingkat alih fungsi lahan yang berdampak pada ketersediaan dan kecukupan pangan dimana akan memengaruhi ketahanan pangan Provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor – faktor yang memengaruhi ketahanan pangan Provinsi Bali menggunakan metode regresi data panel dengan periode tahun 2014-2019. Pada penelitian ini model regresi data panel yang sesuai adalah REM (Random Effect Model) dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 55,46% dan faktor – faktor yang berpengaruh positif secara signifikan adalah variabel persentase penduduk miskin dan PDRB per kapita sedangkan variabel IPM dan produksi padi berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Bali.

In 2019, there were five districts/cities in Bali Province that had the highest Food Security Index scores in Indonesia. This condition indicates that the level of food security in the province of Bali is good, although there are many problems that must be addressed early on. The increasing number of residents and tourists in Bali Province is proportional to the high rate of land conversion which has an impact on the availability and adequacy of food which will affect the food security of the Province of Bali. Therefore, a study was conducted that aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence food security in the Province of Bali using the panel data regression method for the period 2014-2019. In this study, the appropriate panel data regression model is REM (Random Effect Model) with a coefficient of determination of 55,46% and the factors that have a significant positive effect are variables percentage of poor people and GRDP per capita while variables IPM and rice production has a significant negative effect on Food Security in Bali Province.
