Abstract
Motor-motor listrik banyak digunakan disegala bidang, mulai dari aplikasi di lingkungan rumah tangga sampai aplikasi di industri-industri besar. Bermacam- macam motor listrik yang dibuat, dijalankan dengan arus searah atau bolak-balik. Dari segala macam motor listrik itu, maka motor induksilah yang paling banyak digunakan. Belakangan ini. Switched reluctance motor (SRM) semakin diminati dalam aplikasi industri seperti sistem energi angin dan kendaraan listrik karena konstruksinya yang sederhana dan kokoh, kemampuan operasi berkecepatan tinggi, ketidakpekaan terhadap suhu tinggi, dan fitur toleransi kesalahannya. Dengan penelitian lanjutan, berbagai topologi telah muncul dengan menghadirkan lebih sedikit riak torsi, efisiensi tinggi, faktor daya tinggi, dan kepadatan daya tinggi.

Electric motors are widely used in all fields, from household applications to large industrial applications. Various kinds of electric motors are made, run with direct or alternating current. Of all the electric motors, the induction motor is the most widely used. Lately. Switched reluctance motors (SRM) are in high demand in industrial applications such as wind energy systems and electric vehicles due to their simple and robust construction, high operability, insensitivity to high temperatures, and fault tolerance features. With continued research, various topologies have emerged that provide less torque, high efficiency, high power factor and high power density.
