Abstract

Dari analisa perhitungan ekonomi didapat hasil-hasil sebagai berikut, dimana nilai Investasi: Rp. 138,476,388,410.15, total biaya produksi sebesar Rp. 195,900,051,851, Internal Rate of Return: 50 %, Pay Out Time: 4.5 Tahun, Break Even Point: 29.4679%,
================================================================================================
Glycerol monooleate (GMO) is a type of nonionic
surfactant that is widely applied in the industrial world such as the
food, textile, cosmetic, plastic, paint, oil, and petroleum drilling
industries. However, the large demand for GMO in Indonesia is
not supported by an adequate supply of GMO, so Indonesia still
has to import large amounts of GMO each year. GMOs that
function as emulsifiers in industry can be made with glycerol and
oleic acid as raw materials by an esterification process. This
factory was established to meet the domestic demand for GMO,
especially in the food industry. Thus, the glycerol monooleate
product will be adjusted to the specifications of the raw materials
required by the food industry. The configuration of the GMO
manufacturing process is as follows, the esterification stage, the
purification stage, and the solidification stage. Our target GMO
production capacity is 6000 tons/year. The source of investment
funds for this factory comes from own capital with 40% of
investment costs and short-term loans of 60% of investment costs
with an interest rate of 8% per year. From the analysis of economic
calculations obtained the following results, where the investment
value: 138,476,388,410.15 IDR, the total production cost is
195,900,051,851 IDR, Internal Rate of Return: 50%, Pay Out
Time: 4.5 Years, Break Even Point: 29,4679%
