Abstract

Penyusunan proyek akhir yang berjudul “Evaluasi Struktur Dermaga Domestik PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) Tahun 2021” ini menggunakan PT. TPS sebagai objek evaluasi struktur. Evaluasi struktur pada laporan proyek akhir ini dibatasi untuk meninjau elemen struktur dermaga tanpa bagian trestle.
PT TPS selesai dibangun tahun 1996 dan mulai beroperasi pada tahun 1999. Pada tahun 2004, PT TPS memutuskan untuk mengecek kondisi struktur dermaga tersebut. Pengecekan kondisi struktur kembali dilakukan pada tahun 2011, karena adanya rencana penambahan alat untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pada tahun 2014. Saat dilakukan pengecekan, diketahui bahwa kondisi struktur bawah khususnya balok, telah mengalami korosi. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan kondisi lingkungan dan minimnya perawatan pada struktur.
Evaluasi struktur yang diulas dalam laporan ini ialah evaluasi yang dikembangkan dari hasil pengecekan struktur pada tahun 2004 dan 2011, berupa hasil uji lapangan dan laboratorium elemen struktur saat itu. Dari data tersebut, kemudian dapat diketahui perkiraan kapasitas elemen struktur eksisting, lalu dapat dibandingkan dengan kapasitas yang dibutuhkan untuk menahan beban yang akan ditambahkan. Kesimpulan akhirnya ialah dibutuhkan tidaknya perkuatan setelah penambahan beban pada struktur.

The final project, named “Structure Evaluation of PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) Domestic Quay in 2021” makes use of PT. TPS as the structu to be evaluated. The structure’s evaluation in this report is confined to the pier’s structural parts, without the trestle.
The construction of PT TPS was finished in 1996 and began its operations in 1999. In 2004, PT TPS decided to inspect the structure’s condition. Due to plans to introduce equipment to boost production in 2014, structural condition assessments were carried out again in 2011. When the bottom structure was examined, it was discovered that it had corroded, particularly the beams. This occurs as a result of environmental conditions and a lack of structural upkeep.
The report's appraisal of the structure is based on the findings of structural inspections in 2004 and 2011, which were presented in the form of field and laboratory tests of structural elements at the time. The predicted capacity of existing structural elements can then be compared to the capacity required to bear the additional load using this information. Lastly, whether or not reinforcement is required after the structure has been loaded.
