Abstract
Pada penelitian ini analisa hasil meliputi density, Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void in Filled with Asphalt (VFA), Stabilitas Marshall, flow, Marshall Quotient (MQ), ITS Dry, ITS Wet, Rasio ITS (ITSR). Sedangkan campuran 10% crumb rubber juga dapat meningkatkan nilai ITS Dry, ITS Wet, serta ITS Ratio =====================================================================================================
The highway is a major mode of transportation that plays an important role in people's lives, where the highway has a function in encouraging the distribution of goods as well as services for the community. One of the solutions to improve the quality of the road surface layer is the use of Modified Crumb Rubber in the mixture of road pavements. The stages in this research include physical material testing, testing optimum asphalt content (KAO), HRS – WC test with the addition of crumb rubber modification, and analysis of Marshall and Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) tests results along with parameters. The method used in this research is a wet method. The variation of crumb rubber content used is %; 5%; 10%; 15%; 20% of the total weight of the optimum asphalt content (KAO). In this research, the results analysis includes density testing, void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void in Filled with Asphalt (VFA), Marshall Stability, flow, Marshall Quotient, ITS Dry, Ratio ITS (ITSR). The results of this study indicate that the optimum crumb rubber content value is 10%, at this percentage Marshall stability has increased up to 9% by 869,760 kg compared to conventional mixtures. Meanwhile a mixture of 10% crumb rubber can also increase the value of ITS Dry, ITS Wet, and ITS Ratio
