Abstract

Hasil identifikasi variabel penyebab out of control didapatkan variabel keasaman memiliki kontribusi terbesar penyebab out of control.

PDAM Tirtanadi of North Sumatera Province is a regionally-owned enterprise that manages to provide water services for the people of North Sumatera Province. Water quality control in PDAM Tirtanadi is still univariate, while theoretically the characteristics of water quality are interconnected and there is also an autocorrelation due to the continuous process. In this study, statistical quality control will be carried out on three main variables of water quality characteristics, namely acidity, residual chlorine, and turbidity using a Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MEWMA) control chart based on residual model of Multioutput Least Square Support Vector Regression (MLS-SVR). MLS-SVR modeling is used to overcome autocorrelation. The input results of the MLS-SVR model are determined based on the significant lag of the PACF plot, which in this study, is the first lag. The results of the MLS-SVR input model and the optimal combination of hyper-parameters produce residual values that have no autocorrelation. The residual value is used for the MEWMA control chart analysis. In phase I with a weighting of 0,25 a statistically controlled diagram is obtained, while in phase II using the same weighting it shows that observations are out of control. The variable with the largest contribution to cause the out of control observation is acidity. Observations are out of control caused by high rainfall and flooding that occurred in Medan.
