Abstract
================================================================================================
Surabaya is one of the most populous cities in Indonesia with a population of 3 million people. The population really needs a lot of mobility too. Surabaya is one of the busiest cities in Asia along with 3 other Indonesian cities. This is caused by many factors, one of which is the inadequate means of public transportation, so that people prefer to use private transportation. Public transportation facilities in Surabaya, especially in the operational area, are limited to certain routes, one of which is due to its massive dimensions. City buses that run on diesel engines and are used every day are sure to have a negative environmental impact. On the other hand, the very rapid development of technology makes electric buses impossible to reduce emissions generated by diesel engines, even PT INKA has been able to make its own electric buses. The development of electric motorized vehicles is also supported by the president of Indonesia through PERPRES RI number 5 of 2019 concerning the acceleration of the battery-based electric motor vehicle (BEV) program for road transportation. Therefore, the writer wants to present an E-Medium Low Deck Bus design for the city of Surabaya with the concept of Agile, Friendly and Comfort. The Agile concept makes this bus compact and can pass through various roads in Surabaya so that it can pass more routes. The Friendly and Comfort concept is also implemented on the bus so that users with disabilities, both elderly and children can use the bus comfortably.
