Abstract
Screw conveyor yang memiliki sistem kerja utama pada putaran mesin dan poros berupa helical, sehingga kelendutan dan ketidak seimbangan mengakibatkan getaran, aus dan noise yang berlebih. Kekuatan daun screw dalam menerima gaya dorong yang disebabkan material dan putaran mesin yang sangat penting dalam memindahkan material angkut. Mesin screw conveyor tubular diameter 200 mm adalah salah satu tipe screw conveyor yang digunakan oleh perusahaan penghasil pakan ternak ayam yang berfungsi untuk memindahkan monocalsium phospate (MCP). Pemilihan material harus tepat sehingga dapat menahan gaya dorong yang dihasilkan oleh material dan kecepatan putar mesin.

Screw conveyor which has a main working system on the engine rotation and the shaft is in the form of a helix, resulting in slack and imbalance of vibration, wear and excessive noise. The strength of the leaf screw in receiving the thrust caused by the material and the engine speed is very important in moving the conveyance material. The tubular screw conveyor machine with a diameter of 200 mm is one type of screw conveyor used by chicken feed producing companies that work to move monocalsium phosphate (MCP). The choice of material must be appropriate so that it can withstand the thrust generated by the material and the rotational speed of the machine.
