Abstract
Indonesia adalah negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia.dengan wilayah lautan mencapai dua pertiga total luas wilayah Indonesia. Sehingga Indonesia termasuk salah satu negara dengan garis pantai terpanjang di dunia, dan Indonesia memiliki total luas wilayah lautan sebesar 3,25 juta km2 dari total seluruh wilayah Indonesia sebesar 7,81 juta km2 (sumber : kpp.go.id). Oleh karena itu, Indonesia disebut negara maritim karena memiliki total wilayah lautan yang luas melebihi luas wilayah daratan.Penggunaan hidrolik pada industri, berpengaruh penting dalam efektivitas pekerjaan industri karena membantu proses manufaktur, serta memindahkan peralatan dan material yang sangat berat dengan mudah.
Pada industri perkapalan salah satu contoh penggunaan hidrolik sebagai docking dan undocking kapal, dapat kita ketahui kapal dengan berat ratusan ton dapat dinaikkan maupun diturunkan dengan Shiplift yang menggunakan hidrolik untuk menggerakkan aktuator berupa piston. Ada beberapa jenis dock yang dioperasikan pada galangan kapal, antara lain Dok Kolam (Graving Dock), Dok Apung (Floating Dock), Dok Tarik (Slip Way Dock), Dok Angkat (Syncrolift Dry Dock), dan Shiplift. =======================================================================================================
Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world, with the ocean area larger than total land area of Indonesia. So that Indonesia is one of the countries with the longest coastline in the world, and Indonesia has a total ocean area of 3.25 million km2 of the total territory of Indonesia of 7.81 million km2 (source: kpp.go.id). Therefore, Indonesia is called a maritime country because it has a total ocean area that exceeds the land area. The use of hydraulics in industry has an important effect on the effectiveness of industrial work because it helps the manufacturing process, and moves heavy equipment and materials with ease.
In the shipping industry, one example of the use of hydraulics as ship docking and undocking, we can see that ships weighing hundreds of tons can be raised or lowered by Shiplift which uses hydraulics to move actuators in the form of pistons. There are several types of docks operated at the shipyard, including Graving Dock, Floating Dock, Slip Way Dock, Syncrolift Dry Dock, and Shiplift.
