Abstract

Sektor transportasi merupakan bagian penting dalam pembangunan nasional, umumnya sektor transportasi laut menjadi penghubung negara kepulauan seperti
Indonesia.

The transportation sector is an important part of national development, generally, the sea transportation sector is a liaison for archipelagic countries such as Indonesia. Along with the pandemic that does not understand when it will end soon, even now positive cases in Indonesia are still increasing. The spread of aerosols and airborne viruses needs to be re-planned for prevention efforts and ship design to increase the safety and comfort of passengers, especially in closed rooms. The Indonesian Classification Agency has set a minimum standard for the value of air circulation on the ship's deck, which is 15 ACH. In a previous study, one of the Pelni crossing ships only had a circulation value of 0.103 ACH, with this it will only be safe if the passenger deck has 7 passengers in 21 hours. With the adjustment of the maximum number of passengers by changing the air circulation value to 8 ACH, the maximum number of recommendations on the passenger deck will be 141 people, and if the circulation is 15 ACH the passenger deck has a recommended passenger capacity of 201 people. With the reduction in passenger capacity, there will be a consequence of reduced revenue on the Batulicin – Pare-Pare route worth Rp. 2,136,816, Batulicin – Surabaya worth Rp. 535,050,000, and Bontang – Pare Pare Rp. 461,07,000.
