Abstract

Cats are mammals that are often used as pets besides dogs and other animals
because they are easy to obtain and easy to breed. As a result of the easy and fast breeding
cycle, overpopulation of feral cats can occur. Likewise with the increasing number of
stray cat carcasses that die from being hit, sick, and violence between cats caused by
territorial behavior. Along with the increase in the number of stray cat carcasses, the risk
of humans contracting zoonois as the worst impact also increases
The design of this campaign was carried out using several stages of research
methods on overpopulation, TNR cat sterilization, advertising and campaigns. The first
stage of the research conducted a questionnaire to collect data about the target audience.
Literature review on cat overpopulation and TNR cat sterility. Depth interviews were
conducted with stakeholders who sterilized TNR cats. Then the results that have been
obtained are discussed in a focus group discussion to deepen the data. After getting data
from the first phase of research, the researcher conducted an experimental study to create
and evaluate the design through expert interviews. The results obtained are the need for
media that can invite the public to control the cat population in Jakarta through sterile
TNR.
The purpose of this campaign is to invite the public To invite the people of Jakarta
to participate in controlling the cat population through sterile cat trap, neuter, release
(TNR), This campaign is designed using media such as social media, websites, print ads,
and ambient media placed on several strategic shopping centers in the city of Jakarta.
