Abstract

Sistem potensial listrik dalam koordinat kartesian dapat dianalisa dengan menggunakan pendekatan polar. Ada beberapa tahap yang harm dilakukan, yaitu: melakukan perhitungan analitik dalam koordinat kartesian, menentukan syarat batas untuk pendekatan polar, menentukan jungsi potensial polanya dan membandingkannya dengan hasil perhitungan koordinat kartesian. Jumlah titik data yang digunakan adalah 18, 36, 72, 180, 360, dan 720 titik data. Hasil yang didapat adalah bahwa semakin banyak jumlah titik data yang digunakan, nilai V pendekatan polar akan semakin menjauhi nilai V koordinat kartesian. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa transformasi syarat batas dari kartesian ke polar untuk sistem dengan geometri kartesian akan menghasilkan solmi dalam koordinat polar yang nilainya mendekati dengan solminya dalam koordinat kartesian.

System of electric potential in cartesian coordinates can be analyzed using polar approach. There are several steps that must be done, ie: perform analytical calculations in cartesian coordinates, determine the boundary condition for the polar approach, determine it’s potential function in polar and compare it with the cartesian coordinate calculation. The number of data points used are 18, 36, 72, 180, 360, and 720 data points. The results is that the greater number of data points used, the value V in polar approach will further away from the value of V in cartesian coordinates. From these results, it can be concluded that the transformation of the boundary condition for cartesian to polar for cartesian geometry system will produce a solution in polar coordinates whose value is near to the solution in cartesian coordinates.
