Abstract

Indonesia, which is a maritime country, makes Indonesia the largest producer of natural resources from the water sector, one of which is oil and gas. In the process of exploration and exploitation of oil and gas, a supporting structure is needed for the sustainability of these activities, one of which is a jacket platform. The jacket platform construction process starts from the fabrication process, load out and installation. The stages of the process cannot be separated from the Lifting method. Lifting is the process of moving structures using cranes. In the lifting process, the selection and calculation of slings is also very important so that structural failure during lifting can be minimized. This is the basis for conducting a stress analysis on wire rope type slings in the lifting jacket platform process with variations in wear on the slings. The analysis was carried out with the help of SACS 12.0 software. The results of the sling stress analysis obtained the greatest stress of 796.802 kN at the third lifting point. In the variation of wear on the sling which is carried out by involving the wear factor on the sling, it is found that the wear of the sling with Outside Diameter 2.75 in with a wear factor of 1.1 and 1.2 has exceeded the limit of the MBL sling, so slings with Outside Diameter 2.75 cannot be used in this lifting jacket platform process. . In this final project, local analysis of padeye is also carried out using the ANSYS Workbench software. The padeye used has a hole diameter of 105 mm. The result of the von Mises stress that occurs in the padeye is 183.17 Mpa, where the material used is ASTM A36 steel with a allowable stress of 250 Mpa. So the Unity Check results obtained are 0.73
