Abstract

=======================================================================================================================================
Sentana Art is a home instrument industry that produces products using a make to order system. Where an instrument is produced according to the wishes and wishes of the customer and according to customer orders. Meanwhile, Sentana Art products can be said to be handicrafts (hand made). Therefore, the accuracy and level of human error must be minimized. Currently, the existing production process is still experiencing several inefficient and ineffective processes. Based on the above facts, a research was carried out using the DFMA (Define, Measure, Analyze, and Improve) stages. The Define stage is carried out by collecting data to find out what waste occurs using the Lean six sigma approach. At the Measure stage, the weight of the waste that has the most influence on the production process is calculated. It is continued at the Analyze stage to find out where the root of the problem is using Root cause analysis (RCA), and a system for continuous improvement can be found in the production process, using the FMEA method
