Abstract

The construction sector involves a large number of workers who are at risk of exposure to COVID-19. The mobility of the workforce in construction, moving from one project to another, is very dynamic, making it vulnerable to the health risk of being infected with COVID-19. The purpose of this study is to analyze health protocol factors, analyze indicators that influence the Covid-19 health protocol factor on the exposure of construction workers. Types of confirmative research or evidence research. The approach uses descriptive quantitative methods by solving problems by means of current research objects based on facts for analysis and interpretation during the COVID 19 outbreak. This study uses sample data from building construction workers consisting of project managers, supervisors, foremen and builders. The location for field sampling is at the location of the BUMN Building project in Java Island. The analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis with the dependent variable being the exposure of construction workers to COVID-19 and the independent variables being knowledge, obedience, awareness and personal protective equipment and supervision of construction workers. The results of the research analysis show that there is an influence of Knowledge, Awareness, Compliance, Personal Protective Equipment, and Supervision from Construction Workers in implementing the Covid-19 Health protocol which has an effect on the number of construction workers exposed to COVID-19. The DKI Regional construction worker exposure model equation Y = 6.75366 - 0.3696(Knowledge) - 0.02167 (Awareness) - 0.28723 (Compliance) - 0.31373(Personal Protective Equipment) - 0.16558 (Supervision) and for the area of Java Island outside DKI the equation of relationship: Y = 6.63654 - 0.38131(Knowledge) - 0.09007(Awareness) - 0.22975 (Compliance) - 0.38309 (Personal Protective Equipment) - 0.02928 (Supervision). The influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable for construction workers in DKI Jakarta is 80.75% and for Java Island areas outside DKI is 64.53%
