Abstract

Improving the quality of service to consumers is one way that companies must respond immediately to survive in the competition of similar industries. Problems that happen within the distribution of goods can be solved using the Vehicle Routing Problem. CV. Pusaka Bali Persada of Singaraja warehouse carries out distribution activities from its warehouse (depot) to retails (consumers) through 10 distribution routes with 2 Canvas (pickup vans) with a capacity of 500 kg each and 8 Motoris (motorcycle) with a capacity of 100 kg each. In June 2022, the average sales of Kopi Banyuatis were no less than 32,000 kg of the total types of products sold by the company. The company spends an average of Rp188,241.00 for Canvas and Rp133,953.00 for Motoris, costing Rp1,448,102.00 a day with a total distance of 365.38 kilometers. The research uses Clarke and Wright’s Saving Heuristics to achieve efficiency by implementing Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor. Products used in this study focus on the distribution of Regular and 2-in-1. The percentage of Saving Costs is 16%, resulting in a cost of Rp1,220,763.00. The distance is saved to 14%, with a total distance of 313.89 kilometers for seven proposed routes of 6 Motoris and 1 Canvas.
